Kid Rock Helping Injured Kansas City Mother

Country music has always been good at giving back to its fans that need it the most. Kid Rock has announced that he will help out a Kansas City mother who suffered burns after risking her life to save her children from their burning home on October 1st, 2011.

Claudia Gonzalez made two separate trips back into the home to save her children, however, tragically her 3 year-old son Yair Ramos didn’t survive.

“He was so small,” she said. “Sometimes, I feel guilty that I wasn’t able to get him out first.”

Claudia is still in hospital being treated for burns to her face, arms and legs. She’s recuperating at the Kansas University Hospital while grieving the loss of her son.

Kid Rock has offered to help. The rocker-turned-country-singer will be playing at the Midland Theatre in Kansas City on Tuesday night. His foundation will be donating money to help the mother pay for her medical bills during this troubled time.
