Eric Church’s Numbers Show Why Fans Fight For His Shows
Eric Church’s numbers last week proved why he was up for his first Country Music Association (CMA) award nomination for Best New Artist. After taking the stage during the broadcast for “Drink In My Hand,” Eric had the second largest increase in sales last week, next to The Band Perry. According to SoundScan, it was a 61 percent increase in album sales and 168 percent increase in single sales. Eric credits his fans for the success of his career so far, and for 2011 being one of his best years so far.
“To see so many fans come out to support the record and now to see a new crop of fans discover the music through this appearance, well, it gives me a lot to be thankful for this holiday season,” shares Eric.
To acknowledge his fans’ support, Eric has released an exclusive limited-edition hardcover photo book titled “Eric Church: A Song To Sing.” The book includes over 350 pictures spanning his entire career thus far. There is only a limited number of books printed, which would make a cool Christmas gift for any Eric Church fan. To order your copy visit Eric’s official website. Autographed copies will be shipped to fans at random.
