Bucky Covington signs record deal
American Idol Season 5 finalist, Bucky Covington has signed a record deal with Entertainment One Nashville. Bucky was previously signed to Disney’s Lyric Street Records which closed in 2010. With the closure, he continued working on music and going out there and playing for the fans.
Entertaimnet One’s President had this to say about Bucky:
“We are very excited to welcome Bucky Covington to our Entertainment One Film, TV, and Music family. We are already having great success this year at eOne and adding Bucky to our roster is a wonderful indicator for 2012 and beyond.”
Bucky is also excited to become a part of Entertainment One Nashville’s artist roster:
“After getting to know everyone at eOne, they are a perfect fit for me. Being a part of eOne is such a great opportunity, and I truly believe it will be a winning combination. I love these guys! I am very excited and can’t wait to get the party started and share my new music with my fans.”
Bucky is currently in the studio and fans can expect his sophomore album to be released 2012. In the meantime, fans going out to his shows, will be treated to some of the new music.
