The Band Perry Now Triple Platinum
The Band Perry have now been certified triple platinum. That’s one million each for Kimberly, Neil and Reid Perry. Their huge single “If I Die Young” has received the certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The song recently received the pop treatment and is getting airplay on hot 40 channels across North America. Their debut album was released a year ago.
“Although we’ve planned, prepared and prayed for this moment for the past 13 years, we’re still a little overwhelmed by the warm welcome we’ve been given,” said Kimberly, Neil and Reid Perry. “Birthdays have always been celebrated big in this family, so to have a one-year-old album AND hear that ‘If I Die Young’ has touched so many people; it makes us feel that we’re sharing our celebration with all of you.”
The Band Perry will be the musical guests on next week’s Dancing With The Stars live episode. Catch their performance on Tuesday, October 18th on ABC. Congratulations to The Band Perry!
