The Opry To Return To GAC This Fall

For fans wanting to watch their favorite stars’ performances at the Grand Ole Opry and can’t make it to Nashville, GAC and the Opry are about to make it a whole lot easier. Beginning October 4th with the 80th birthday celebration for George Jones, GAC will start airing its “Opry Live!” for six episodes. While air times haven’t been yet officially announced, the episodes are set to feature country stars like Trace Adkins, Alan Jackson, Jamey Johnson, The Oak Ridge Boys, LeAnn Womack, Lauren Alaina, Rascal Flatts, Eric Church, Kellie Pickler, Ronnie Dunn, Scotty McCreery, Randy Travis, Carrie Underwood and many more to be announced. The first episode was filmed last night at the Opry House.

“GAC has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with the OPRY over the past eight years, partnering with them on ‘OPRY Live’ and specials including ‘Country at the White House,’ ‘MUSIC CITY Keep on Playing’ and ‘Country Comes Home.’ Special moments happen on the OPRY stage and GAC is pleased to be able to share those moments with our viewers,” said GAC SVP/GM SARAH TRAHERN.

Stay tuned to and for air date information as it becomes available. The return of Opry Live is being sponsored by Humana.
