Dierks Bentley has released the second single off of his still untitled upcoming album due out early next year. He co-wrote “Home” with Dan Wilson and Brett Beavers. Dierks wrote the song as a tribute to all the people he’s met over the years while he’s been on the road traveling from city to city.
“One of the best parts of being a traveling musician is getting to meet people from all over the country and hear about what’s happening in their lives and their towns…the struggles and the joys,” says Bentley. “They’re the inspiration for this song. The lyrics speak to the challenges we’ve had as a country, but hopefully the song leaves you feeling inspired and optimistic.”
Dierks lead single “Am I The Only One” was a number one hit for his sixth album. There’s no solid release date yet, but it is expected to have an early 2012 release. If you find yourself needing a hit of Dierks earlier than that, he’s about to embark on his “Country & Cold Cans” 22-stop tour on October 6th in Lacrosse, WI.
