For Brad Paisley, it has always been about the guitar.
It all began when the country megastar received his first guitar as a gift from his grandfather at the age of 8. And as the saying goes, the rest is history.
Fans will be able to read all about Paisley’s love for the instrument and how it has shaped his life in his upcoming book, Diary of a Player. This marks Paisley’s first foray into book writing. The project is being described as a salute to the guitar and his guitar heroes, who were very influential in Paisley’s life and career.
Diary of a Player was co-written by David Wild and published by Howard Books, an imprint of Simon and Schuster.
Jonathan Merkh, Howard Books’ vice president and publisher, shared:
“It is a love letter to the guitar. The book pays homage to an instrument that Paisley realized was his only real constant no matter how he changed and evolved.”
“When life gets intense, there are some people who drink, who seek counseling, eat, or watch TV, cry, sleep, and so on. I play.”
Diary of a Player will be released on November 1st.
