ACM Lifting Lives Putting Women & Children First

The Academy of Country Music’s Lifting Lives campaign has announced the theme for its September fundraising. They’ll be focusing on “Women & Children First” and will feature web-driven videos of artists promoting awareness and artist-backed charities related to this month’s “My Cause.” This theme will focus on charitable organizations that want to improve the lives of women and children through education and support. Artists and charities highlighted this month include Thompson Square for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Steel Magnolia for Sarah’s House.

The “My Cause” campaign encourages country music artists to be vocal on camera about the causes they support and introduce their fans to their favorite organizations that they support themselves. The program raised over $25,000 for artists’ favorite charities thanks to fan-backing.
