Scotty McCreery to release "Clear As Day" on October 4th.
Waiting on that debut album from Season 11 American Idol winner Scotty McCreery? Your wait is almost over.
McCreery’s debut effort “Clear As Day” will be released on the Mercury Nashville/19 Recordings/Interscope October 4th.
“Clear As Day is definitely country and it’s definitely me,” Scotty wrote to his fans in the announcement released this evening. “It has some old country influences and elements, but it also has a contemporary feel with fun up-tempo songs. It’s a good mixture. You can hear some of the influences that I grew up with, like Hank Williams, Conway Twitty and Merle Haggard, but it still has a contemporary twist and feel that keeps it up to date.”
McCreery’s video for “I Love You This Big” was released to CMT earlier this week on Tuesday and he, along with the remaining American Idol Season 11 alumni, will appear on ABC-TV’s Good Morning America tomorrow morning (8/12).
