Craig Morgan’s Charity Weekend Raises $95,000 for Billy’s Place

This year, Craig Morgan’s Charity Motocross Ride, Concert and Sporting Clay Shoot raised more than the previous two years – more than $95,000 – and that makes for a very happy Morgan.

Morgan was quoted as saying this about the results of this year’s event:

“It’s amazing how much this event has grown over the last 5 years and I’m over-the-top grateful to everyone from our celebrity friends and the Dickson and Middle Tennessee communities for their support. We raised a record high amount this year for Billy’s Place and I’m thankful for the opportunity to do more for the children and families of Dickson. I already can’t wait to do it again next year!”

Proceeds from the weekend’s activities benefit Billy’s Place, which is supporting children’s causes in Middle Tennessee and working toward building a home for temporarily displaced children in Morgan’s hometown of Dickson, just outside Nashville.

Morgan invited some of his celebrity friends to tag along for the big 2-day weekend, including celebrity pro Motocross riders Fred Andrews, Cowboy Kenny Bartram, Randy Hawkins and Kevin Windham who were on hand to exhibit their gravity defying skills. Also joining Morgan for the day’s adventures were fellow country music performers Bucky Covington and Sarah Darling, who took to the stage with Morgan for a big show that night. Pam Tillis also performed a laundry list of her classic hits.
