Country music songwriter Brett James has signed a deal with Warner Chappel Music and Combustion Music Nashville. As part of the deal, James will retain rights to his own publishing company Combustion Music.
James has recently co-wrote Scotty McCreery’s “I Love You This Big,” the debut single from the latest American Idol winner. Number one songs he has writing credits on include Kenny Chesney’s “Out Last Night,” Martina McBride’s “Blessed,” Carrie Underwood’s “Jesus, Take The Wheel,” and Jason Aldean’s “The Truth.”
