Taylor Swift has been forced by a doctor to cancel three more shows due to illness. This comes a few days after Swift cancelled her Kentucky show less than two hours before she was to take the stage.
The tour-dates for the “Speak Now World Tour” that are now postponed are Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA as well as the Louisville, KY date from last night. She was scheduled to perform twice in Atlanta this weekend.
“It breaks my heart to miss out on this weekend’s shows with my friends in Charlotte and Atlanta. I would never cancel if I thought I was physically able to perform these shows. I am so sorry to the fans, but I look forward to seeing you when we come back through your towns, which we will do.”
The new dates are: Louisville – October 11th, Charlotte – November 16th, and the Atlanta shows will take place October 1st and 2nd. She will continue her tour next week in Montreal, Quebec on July 14th. This is the first time in Swift’s career that she has had to cancel shows due to an illness.
“The Speak Now World Tour” features 98 cities in 17 countries around the world this year.
