Keith Urban’s “Days Go By” Featured in Space
Astronauts aboard the Atlantis spacecraft were woken with a surprise on Sunday July 17th, when country artist Keith Urban’s song “Days Go By” filled the room. Workers at the NASA Johnson Space Center used the song in a video message to the astronauts.
Rex Walheium, mission specialist on the Atlantis, said “The days go by, so we better start living and we are. We are enjoying every minute up here. Thanks so much for the greeting from the Johnson Space Center, our home – home of some of the hardest working, most talented people who have made some incredible things happen in spaceflight.”
The astronauts are spending their last full day at the International Space Station before heading back on their return trip here to Earth, as NASA’s final space shuttle mission.
