Taylor Swift, recently named one of Rolling Stone’s “Queens of Pop,” is ready to take on a different side of Hollywood. The young singer is going to release her first perfume line in October of this year. “Wonderstruck” was taken from one of her own lyrics from “Enchanted“: “I’m wonderstruck, blushing all the way home.”
The perfume was developed by Swift with Olivier Gillotin of Givaudan and inspired by her favorite scents and memories. It will be produced by Elizabeth Arden.
“The flawless beauty of freesia, apple blossom and raspberry spark a swirl of vibrancy and feminine allure…. In the heart, a sweet surprise of blissful vanilla is embellished by airy, sun drenched honeysuckle and white hibiscus…. Notes of golden amber and sandalwood are woven with a kiss of lush peach.”
“Wonderstruck” will be available in the United States in October. It will go international in 2012.
Justin Bieber released his first fragrance last week and broke sales records of any other celebrity line. Can Swift beat the Biebs? We’ll have to see.
