Ruth Collins, known to fans from CMT’s Can You Duet? television series, has signed with Curb Records and Curb Music Publishing Co. The singer-songwriter performed alongside Victoria Gibson on the show as Wild Honey, and has signed the deal as a solo singer. They had placed sixth on the show.
Collins, a native of New York, moved to Nashville in 2007 to follow her dream. She is a former Burklee College of Music student. She’s studied violin and piano since the age of three, and her father inspired her to write her own music as a teenager when he introduced her to James Taylor.
She is represented by Jeff Lysyczyn and Al MacManus of Big Show Music Co.
