Curb Records signs new artist Ruth Collins

Ruth Collins, known to fans from CMT’s Can You Duet? television series, has signed with Curb Records and Curb Music Publishing Co. The singer-songwriter performed alongside Victoria Gibson on the show as Wild Honey, and has signed the deal as a solo singer. They had placed sixth on the show.

Collins, a native of New York, moved to Nashville in 2007 to follow her dream. She is a former Burklee College of Music student. She’s studied violin and piano since the age of three, and her father inspired her to write her own music as a teenager when he introduced her to James Taylor.

She is represented by Jeff Lysyczyn and Al MacManus of Big Show Music Co.
