Bus trouble can’t stop LoCash from performing

Have you ever had one of those days where nothing seemed to go right? The LoCash Cowboys probably felt that way last weekend. They were scheduled to play in Eau Claire, Wisconsin for Country Jam USA last Saturday. The night before after a show, their bus wouldn’t start and they didn’t get it fixed and get going until that Saturday morning. After finding a charter plane in Madison, WI, they manged to fly to Eau Claire and get to the stage at Country Jam at 4:59pm. But they found out that the stage manager shut the stage down due to storms coming in. The fans were upset that LoCash wouldn’t be able to perform on the main stage but Zac Brown of the Zac Brown Band got an idea.

Zac Brown had heard about the upset fans and decided to arrange it to where Preston and Chris could perform after their set. All clear, right? Halfway through a performance of their song, “Keep in Mind,” Preston’s piano stopped working due to having gotten wet, so they finished it out acoustically. They realized after finishing that Zac Brown was onstage with them and he even joked about being able to open for the LoCash Cowboys. Preston had this to say about Zac:

“I made sure I personally thanked ZAC when he came off stage that night. He was so genuine, cool, and sincere about giving us the opportunity to close the night on the main stage. It was a historical night for LOCASH, to perform in front of 30,000 fans under such conditions, and we can’t thank the Zac Brown Band and Country Jam enough for giving us such a great memory. It’s definitely going in our book some day!”
