Blake Shelton gets First Digital Platinum Single
Blake Shelton, reigning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year and the most interesting man in country music, receives his first ever digital Platinum single this week with his infectious hit, “Honey Bee.” Shelton holds the record for the fastest-selling digital Platinum single for a male country solo artist. The single also holds the No. 1 spot on the Country Aircheck / Mediabase chart and the Billboard Country chart for the fourth week in a row with over 40 million in audience. No country artist has held this record in over six years.
