What do you do when you’re facing an arena packed with 50,000 of your fans and a heavy rainstorm was threatening your show? Well, if you’re Taylor Swift, you play on anyway.
Swift was faced with this decision at her recent show at Gillette Stadium on June 25th. With 52,000 loyal fans waiting outside in the rain, Swift played a full two-hour set despite the heavy downpour at her second of two sold-out shows outside Boston. Many acts would have cancelled or postponed their show due to the weather, but that wasn’t an option for Swift who decided that if her fans would stay there, so would she. The fans appreciated the effort, and Swift broke into tears near the end of her set when thanking everyone for sticking around to watch her show.
