Taylor Swift teamed up with the ACM: Lifting Lives program at her sold-out show Saturday night in Detroit to raise $50,000 for St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
The Executive Director of the ACM: Lifting Lives, Erin Spahn, also donated $25,000 to Swift to give to a charity of her choice. Swift chose St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and matched the ACM’s donation with a personal check of $25,000 for the $50,000 total donation.
This is the third year in a row the ACM Entertainer Of The Year Matching Gift has been around. Former recipients of checks include the C.A.T.S. Foundation, Community Foundation for Eastern Tennessee and Musicares.
