Country group LiveWire are releasing their debut 6-song EP today on iTunes. The Joplin, MO band’s debut single, “Tater Fed,” is currently racing up the US country charts. Their second single, “Heart Burn” is #6 on the HotDisc Top 40 chart in Europe.
The release of their EP is a milestone for the band, who have been together for over a decade. They were formerly the 2009 finalists in the Colgate Country Showdown in Nashville, and they have also performed at the Ryman Auditorium. They are one of the top-drawing live acts in the Midwest and pack venues in their neighboring states of Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas.
The group is a blend of “working man’s country” and Southern rock. The 6-song original EP is available at Amazon, CD Baby, iTunes and any digital retailer today.
