Tim McGraw filed a countersuit against Curb Records, The Boot is reporting. This suit is in response to Curb’s breach of contract suit filed May 13th in Davidson County Court. In Tim’s suit, he alleges his record label is holding on to his recordings and refuses to release them and is “holding it hostage” from country music fans. He’s also asking for a jury trial and to be set free from Curb records after the release of Emotional Traffic. The label’s suit alleges Tim recorded his tracks too early in an effort to get out of his contract earlier than expected.
