NBC announced today that it’s brand new hit singing competition, The Voice, will premiere it’s second season right after the coverage of the 2012 Superbowl on NBC. Looks like Blake Shelton has really hit the big time. He has signed on for the second season which starts filming the blind audition segments at the end of this year.
The Voice’s final taped episode airs tonight at 10 PM on NBC following the 2-hour premiere of America’s Got Talent. The Voice goes live next week at it’s original air time of 9 pm, so don’t forget to re-set your DVR’s! The live episodes is when the power is taken away from the four judges and given to the fans, who can vote for their favorites by texting-in, calling, and through the internet. The details of the voting process will be announced shortly.
