Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott writing ‘Happier Songs’
(RTTNews) – Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott has revealed that she is writing more upbeat songs since she has been in a relationship. Scott told Taste of Country that being with someone colors her writing.
“I think that everybody writes from personal experience. We just finished up recording our third record, [and] I’m definitely writing a lot more happy.”
About her current boyfriend, Chris Tyrrell, the singer said: “I’m in a great, amazing relationship now.”
Scott recently scored another hit with Sara Evans’ “A Little Bit Stronger,” a tune she co-wrote that spent multiple weeks at number one on the country songs chart. She said of the track: “It feels like a lifetime ago.”
Lady Antebellum is slated to release their next album later this year.
