Hank Williams Jr. schedules benefit for Tornado victims

Hank Jr., reached out to CMT to get their help in planning a Benefit concert to help the tornado victims in Alabama, a place he calls home. He told CMT, “I just couldn’t believe what I was seeing on TV.  Alabama is home – I am really pumped about helping.  I want to raise a lot of money, and thanks to my good friends, we are going to be able to make a difference.” The concert will be broadcast live from on CMT and cmt.com on Thursday, May 12th from Nashville. This concert will be a 90-minute fundraising special to raise money for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief efforts to benefit the Alabama tornado victims. Artists already scheduled to appear at the benefit include, Hank Jr., Lady Antebellum, Alabama, Keith Urban, Ronnie Dunn, Sara Evans, Tim McGraw and more to be announced. Country music artist and fans have always been conscious of the need to help out the neighbors in a time of need and this is one of those times.
