The third annual ‘Guitar of the Stars’ benefit auction is set for Thursay, June 9th at 4pm at the Hall of Fame Park in Nashville. Some of country music’s biggest stars have designed and donated guitars for this year’s auction, including Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker and Jerrod Neimann. Also, a guitar will be donated by Lucie Rice and Cindy Wunsch, visual artists who designed a guitar inspired by Rascal Flatts’ music.
The event is free to attend, and will include performances by Steve Wariner and Josh Thompson, who will also donate autographed guitars for auction. Billy Cody from GAC-TV and 650 AM WSM radio will also be there as an emcee.
All donations benefit the Opry Trust Fund.
The Opry Trust Fund has been around for over 40 years and assists those in the country music community who need help with living expenses, medical bills, rent, utilities, and food. Come down during CMA Fest and bid on a guitar by your favorite artist!
