Jo Dee Messina Releases Benefit Track
Jo Dee Messina has released a single to raise funds for a Nashville area schools. The one dollar purchase of “Carry Me” goes towards the fundraising campaign for the Holy Trinity Montessori School. Songwriter Jared Anderson and Messina will donate all royalties that they would have made towards building a 6,000 sq. ft. schoolhouse. The school already has 25 students enrolled and are expecting to have the capacity for 125 students total.
“This isn’t about just a cause I believe in or the latest celebrity charity. I want this campaign to show that even in a time when people feel there is little hope, that there is hope and dreams still do come true. I chose [the song] because we need people from all over to carry us with their support to make this dream come true.” - Jo Dee Messina
Download the single until July 15th HERE. Messina is looking to get together $2.3 million towards the schoolhouse from donations.
