Reba & Blake to host tornado benefit concert

News OK is reporting that Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire are headed back to Oklahoma for a tornado relief charity concert. On April 14th, 2011, an EF-3 tornado had touched down near where McEntire had grown up. The benefit concert will be May 26th, at the Choctaw Event Center in Durant, Oklahoma. There were two deaths and forty injuries after this disaster. The tornado also destroyed over 130 homes according to state officials.  All proceeds will go towards the Tushka Disaster Relief Fund.

“Oklahoma defines who I am and seeing the effects this disaster has had on my neighbors, I knew I had to do something,” said Shelton. “Reba and I have a lot of love for this state and we wanted to do what we can to help. This place is my home and these people are family to us.”
